EvTFT Evolving Thought Field Therapy

Skeptics

Evolving Thought Field Therapy (EvTFT) is a groundbreaking and paradigm challenging psychotherapy that utilizes the acupuncture meridian system (If you dont know what that means it's ok doctors don't either!) to diagnose and treat psychological problems. In EvTFT, the disruptive emotions (negative or positive) are alleviated through gentle activation of designated acupuncture points, which neutralize or eliminate the energetic causes of the experienced problem.
*Statement paraphrased from official EvTFT site.
EvTFT is based on an acupuncture system that was derived thousands of years ago by the Chinese. The Chinese believed that by stabbing needles into peoples skin at certain locations, they could be cured from some illnesses and feel better about their life. This was based on a view of life that surrounds around Qi (ch'i). There are no empirical evidence to support the effects of acupuncture in healing illness, and especially for helping in psychological problems. It doesn't work for physical illness, and it doesn't work for mental illness.
